I cannot use google chrome because of parental settings I cannot remove, I'm an adult and need my computer for work. How do I remove all parental settings, it has been a nightmare more so than helpful because of the constant 'ask parent for permission' pop ups that block me from continuing access to critical websites from my own computer. This issue continued whether I'm signed in under organizer (with my correct DOB) or manager (has child's DOB)

    Hi there.

    Can you try this?

    1. Create a new Chrome profile.
    2. Delete the old one.

Then sign into the profile with the account that is getting the 'ask your parent' requests and see if they still occour.

Please let me know how this went.

To remove parental controls that are affecting your ability to use Google Chrome, you will need to access the Microsoft Family Safety settings. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account: Make sure you are signed in with the account that has the organizer role.
    2. Access Family Safety settings: Go to the Microsoft Family Safety website or app.
    3. Manage family members: Locate the section where you can manage family members and their permissions.
    4. Remove or adjust parental controls: You can either remove the child account or adjust the settings to remove restrictions on web access.
    5. Check browser settings: Ensure that Google Chrome is not blocked in the settings. If it is, you may need to approve it for use.

If you are still facing issues, it may be necessary to check the registry keys related to parental controls, as mentioned in the context. However, modifying registry settings should be done with caution and is typically recommended for advanced users.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
