I need to talk to someone about how to eliminate a heading that I created for outgoing emails. After being hacked, I want to delete that heading. Community support is not helping. I pay for Microsoft 360. Can I talk to someone or have a live chat.

    Dear Vivien and Tim Halloran

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand you want to remove a “heading” that appears on your outgoing emails (created previously, noticed after the account was hacked), and you also want a direct way to reach Microsoft support/live chat since you have a Microsoft 365 subscription.

    • If the “heading” is actually an email signature. Remove or edit it in the signature settings for the platform you’re using. Outlook on the web / Outlook.com / New Outlook: Use the signature settings to clear the content (or set no default signature) so it stops appearing on outgoing emails.
    • If the “heading” is a background/theme/stationery that shows up when replying/forwarding. This can look like a banner or colored background carried into the reply/forward. Removing stationery/background color by replying/forwarding, clicking in the message body, then using Options > Page Color > No Color (or changing Fill Effects).
    • If the “heading” is being injected by an Outlook rule. Rules typically move/forward/delete mail, but if you suspect any post-hack mailbox automation, review and remove/disable anything you didn’t create. To create/edit/delete rules in Outlook and Outlook.com (Settings > Mail > Rules in the web/new Outlook experience). Remove any suspicious rules you don’t recognize.
    • To reach Microsoft support :
      • Visit Contact - Microsoft Support
      • Type a brief description of your issue in the search box
      • Scroll down to the bottom > select Sign in to contact support
      • Log in to your personal Microsoft account.
      • Under Products & Services, select "Other Products"; Under Categories, select a suitable Category.
      • Click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" (during business hours)

    Thank you for your understanding.
