when creating a new email on my Android, it goes directly to the contents, skipping TO and Subject.

this started right after a new update was done.

    Hi @John Dvorak

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

To help narrow down the issue, please provide more details:

-Can you confirm whether the problem occurs after updating your Android or Outlook app?

-When you mention it skips the To/Subject fields, do you mean the fields are visible but the cursor jumps directly to the message body, or are the To/Subject fields missing entirely?

You may try the following steps:

-Force‑stop the Outlook app and reopen it.

-Clear the app cache to remove any corrupted temporary data.

-Reinstall Outlook if the issue persists, which can help resolve deeper configuration or installation problems.

Please know that while our initial response might not resolve the issue right away, your input is incredibly valuable. With a bit more detail, we’ll work together to find the best solution for you.

Note: Please follow the steps in our documentation to enable e-mail notifications if you want to receive the related email notification for this thread.
