Windws 11 does not detect Epson all-in-one printer as scanner

Since installing Windows 11, the Epson ET-2800 is detected only as a printer (works fine), but not as a scanner. Scan 2 is installed and Scan 2 Utility shows no scanner. Windows 10 was seamless. What to do?

    Download and install the following driver:
