I keep getting this error sometimes when I play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, but it's not that often and it does not happen a lot and I only got this error 2 times when I played the game today and some couple of months ago. I cant tell if this is corruption or just it from overheating the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti drive. If there's a way to fix it from not happing again let me know what to do to fix this.

The description for Event ID 153 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\Video3

Error occurred on GPUID: 100

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

    Hi,

If it is a laptop or desktop, if possible, could you provide the laptop model or your desktop configuration?

Does the error code only occur with Avatar Frontier Pandora?

It could be overheating or a game configuration issue causing the crash. The game itself has several bugs, especially with mandatory ray tracing. Did you reach low graphics quality?

What resolution are you playing the game at?

Activate Nvidia's monitoring to see the GPU temperatures. If it's above 78°C, your video card may be overheating. Since the game is demanding, that could be the reason.

    Thanks

The Event ID 153 error you are encountering is typically associated with issues in the storage subsystem, indicating that the storage system is overloaded, which can lead to timeouts. In your case, since it is related to the NVIDIA driver (nvlddmkm), it might be due to driver issues or system overload when running graphics-intensive applications like games.

To address this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Update Your NVIDIA Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. You can download the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website or through the Device Manager.
    2. Check for Overheating: Monitor your GPU temperatures while gaming. If temperatures are too high, consider improving your system's cooling, cleaning dust from fans, or ensuring proper airflow.
    3. Reduce Graphics Settings: Lowering the graphics settings in the game may help reduce the load on the GPU and prevent the error from occurring.
    4. Check System Load: Use tools like Performance Monitor to check how your system resources are being utilized. Make sure that your system is not overloaded with background processes while gaming.
    5. Reinstall the Driver: If the problem persists, consider uninstalling the current driver completely and then reinstalling it to ensure no corrupted files are causing the issue.
    6. Contact Support: If none of the above solutions work, you may want to reach out to NVIDIA support or your hardware vendor for further assistance.

By following these steps, you should be able to mitigate the occurrence of the Event ID 153 error while playing your game.
