Reversing WHT tax payable balance in Business Central

I posted an invoice so that I could do the payment journal for an expense. Somehow when I did the payment journal, it deducted the WHT tax payable and now it's showing a credit balance in that account. I created a credit memo and applied a cash receipt journal, but the WHT tax payable balance is still there. How do I fix it?

Since the information provided is not quite clear, could you please provide the following details:

    1. What is the exact flow of your entries?
    2. What is the current balance shown in the WHT Payable account? (A number or screenshot description will help)
    3. Has the WHT been paid to the tax authority yet?
    4. Is the issue related to a technical posting mistake or a real-world payment that has not been recorded correctly?
