To address the issue of being charged for a subscription renewal that you did not want, you can follow these steps:

    1. Contact Microsoft Billing Support: You can reach out to Microsoft Billing Support to discuss your situation and request a refund. To do this, visit the Microsoft support page and sign in with the account associated with your subscription. Look for the option to chat with an agent or request a callback.
    2. Cancellation Options: If you want to stop future charges, you can cancel your subscription. Depending on your billing account type, you may be eligible for a prorated refund if you cancel within a specific time frame after renewal. For example, if you have an MCA billing account, you can cancel within seven days for a prorated refund.
    3. Turn Off Recurring Billing: If you do not wish to continue your subscription, ensure that you turn off recurring billing to prevent any future charges.

For more detailed instructions on how to proceed, please refer to the Microsoft support documentation.
