If your organization's identity validation is stuck at "In Progress" for over a week, it may be due to several reasons. Typically, after submitting all requested documents and completing the email verification, the status should progress. However, if it remains unchanged, it is advisable to check the following:
- Email Verification: Ensure that the email verification link was clicked and that it was done within the 7-day validity period. If the link has expired, you will need to create a new identity validation request.
- Additional Documentation: Sometimes, the Microsoft validation team may require more documentation. If this is the case, you should have received an email notification.
- Contact Support: If you have not received any updates or notifications, it is recommended to contact Azure Support or use Microsoft Q&A for assistance. You can inquire about the status of your identity validation request and seek guidance on any next steps.
Creating additional identity validation requests for the same entity that is in progress will not expedite the process, so it's best to wait for a response from the validation team.
