Why am I seeing three green bars to the left of my photos when importing them from my iPhone to the laptop? The import is complete, yet they are still there and the photo won't display and some do?Screen shot of photo issue

Hi Alana, it seems like the command didn't format properly.

You can simply press and hold the power button for a few seconds to shut the PC off and turn it back on to see the Desktop shell.

    OR

You can also press Ctrl ALT DEL keys and then select Task Manager.

Then click File > New task in the app.

    Type explorer.exe

    Press OK.

    Hi Alanna,

This means the file was newly created, which is, of course, normal in this case.

I see the thumbnails aren't showing properly.

    • Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
    • Run:
        taskkill /f /im explorer.exe

        del /f /q %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\thumbcache*.db

        start explorer.exe

Wait for a while and see if the thumbnails populate.

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.
