PC Randomly crashes when idle and on certain games

Hi there.

Ever since I updated Windows 11 back in January, my PC has been experiencing random crashes when doing nothing on the desktop or playing certain games. Have tried running SFC and DISM in command, but the issue still persists.

Have got a minidump file, but not sure how to upload it.

Please further advise.

Thanks.

Ivan

Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

    Thanks.

The minidump does not mention any third-party driver, only a generic system file.

    I suggest doing the following:

Go to the Acer website using the link below, download the latest Chipset driver, and install it.

    https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/Predator_PO7-650/downloads?suggest=Predator_PO7-650;0

    Driver name: Chipset Driver

(Extract the ZIP file, and double-click the file Setup_Driver to run it. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.)

Then, restart (not shutdown) your PC and see if the system will work stably.

If the crash occurs again after doing this, please share the minidump it created.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please share the minidump files.

    These files are in C:\Windows\Minidump.

Copy any files you have to your desktop and store them in a ZIP file. Then, upload the ZIP file to the cloud (OneDrive), choose to share it, and get the link.

Then, post the link to the ZIP file here so I can have a look.

    I await your reply.
