Hello,

Our team is required to change its greeting message on a daily basis

Question 1) is there a way that would allow us to NOT have to listen to the current message prior to record the new one.

Question 2) if there are no way is this something you currently are working on or can we submit an RFE to get this

Here are the step we currently follow (we want to get rid of step 3)

Go to Settings > Calls > Configure voicemail. Detailed steps: # Click the three dots (…) near your profile picture, then select Settings.

  1. Go to Calls > Configure voicemail.
  2. Click Record a greeting.
  3. The voice system will ask you to listen to the old message (required).
  4. Record

Currently, the process for changing a voicemail greeting in Microsoft Teams requires users to listen to their existing message before recording a new one. Unfortunately, there is no option available to bypass this step at this time.

As for your second question, if this feature is something you would like to see implemented, I recommend reaching out to Microsoft support or your account representative to submit a request for enhancement (RFE). They can provide guidance on how to formally submit feedback regarding this feature.
