I renewed my Office 365 Personal subscription using my South African credit card. M/S sent me an email to my Hotmail address acknowledging the payment until January 31, 2027.

However I am still receiving reminders to renew on my Gmail address otherwise my services will be disabled!

PLEASE ASSIST ME TO RECTIFY THIS ISSUE.

Thanks.

    Open Word.

At the top of Word, sign out of Office.

Restart (not shut down) your computer, then sign back in to Office.

Is your subscription now correctly recognized?

If not, sign in to your Microsoft account using the link below and check the expiration date of your Microsoft 365 subscription. Is it correct for your new subscription?

Otherwise, go to the Billing and Payments section.

Is your subscription payment listed there as having been successfully completed?

It sounds like there may be an issue with the account associated with your subscription. Here are some steps you can take to rectify the situation:

    1. Check Subscription Status: Go to https://account.live.com and sign in with the Hotmail address that received the renewal confirmation. Verify that your subscription is active until January 31, 2027.
    2. Sign into the Correct Account: Ensure that you are signed into the correct Microsoft account in the Office applications. Sometimes, reminders can be sent to a different account if you have multiple accounts.
    3. Update License in Office Apps: Open any Office application (like Word or Excel), go to File > Account, and click on Update License. Log in again to see if this resolves the issue.
    4. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. You can find support options at Microsoft 365 Support.

These steps should help you address the subscription renewal reminders you are receiving.
