Go to Settings > System > Notifications and check if Outlook is listed and notifications. Not listed.

If you are not receiving email notifications in Outlook after upgrading to Office 365, there are a few potential causes and solutions to consider:

    1. Missing Outlook Shortcut: Ensure that the Outlook shortcut is present in the Start menu. If it is missing, desktop applications that send toast notifications must have a shortcut installed to the Start screen or in the Apps view. You can check the following locations:
      • For Outlook 2016, 2019, or Office 365: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\
    2. Group Policy Settings: Check if the Remove common program groups from Start Menu Group Policy setting is enabled. If it is, it may prevent Outlook from appearing in the notification settings. You can verify this by:
      • Opening the Registry Editor and navigating to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer.
      • Look for the NoCommonGroups value. If it is set to 1, the setting is enabled, and you may need to disable it.
    3. Repair Office Installation: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, consider repairing your Office installation. You can do this by:
      • Opening Control Panel, selecting Programs, then Programs and Features.
      • Selecting your version of Microsoft Office and choosing Change. Depending on your installation type (MSI or Click-to-Run), select the appropriate repair option.
    4. Windows Notification Settings: Ensure that notifications for Outlook are enabled in Windows 11 settings. Go to Settings > System > Notifications and check if Outlook is listed and notifications are allowed.

If you have checked all these settings and the issue persists, further troubleshooting may be necessary.
