Hi

I have a serious problem, I tried to recovery my account for around 6 times and still unsuccessful.

I'm wondering that security question has a sensitive case? And security question need us to type like what it submitted before. For example "Favourite teacher name" and answer submitted to Microsoft server was "Mr. Brown". How I can to type for recovery when I forgot what the answer? Just "Brown", "Mr Brown" or using dot "Mr. Brown"?

Thanks, it's serious problem for me. Sorry for disturb!

    Hi @Recovery Help ,

Security questions are case-insensitive, and can be input in either uppercase or lowercase. (For more details, see this FAQ by Ryen Macababbad)

The characters do need to match, though. So if you had spaces between words or a period after "Mr", those would need to be there.

    Hope this helps!

    Marilee
