A collaborative workspace app in Microsoft 365 designed to help teams co-create, stay organized, and work together in real time across apps and devices.
Dear @DeAnn Sheldon,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
I understand you're trying to locate the SharePoint site associated with your Loop workspace so you can recover a deleted Loop page.
Most Loop workspaces that are created directly in the Loop app do not generate a standard, browseable SharePoint site. Instead, they are stored in SharePoint Embedded containers. This design often leads users to check the SharePoint Admin Center or the SharePoint start page without finding a matching site.
To help you recover the deleted page, I have outlined the correct steps depending on where the Loop page was originally created. You can follow the scenario that best matches your case:
Scenario 1: The page was created in the Loop app
Note: This scenario requires assistance from your organization’s Microsoft 365 or SharePoint administrator. If you are an end user, please reach out to your IT admin so they can complete the steps.
Open the Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Go to the SharePoint Admin Center.
Select Containers to view all Loop containers > Locate the container tied to your workspace.
Check inside for the deleted file and restore it if it is still within your organization’s retention period.

Scenario 2: The page was shared or used inside a Teams channel
Files created as Loop components in Teams channel posts or meetings are stored in the SharePoint site associated with that Team.
Open Teams app > Go to the team where the Loop component was used > Select the channel involved > Open the Files tab.
Choose Open in SharePoint > Navigate to the Recycle Bin > Restore the deleted item.
Note: If the Recycle Bin tab does not appear, it may have been hidden by your IT administrator. Please contact your IT admin to help verify this for you.

Scenario 3: The page originated in Teams private chat, Teams meetings, Outlook, OneNote, or Whiteboard
In these cases, the Loop file is stored in the OneDrive of the person who created it.
Open the creator’s OneDrive > Navigate to the Recycle Bin.
Restore the deleted Loop file if still available.
Scenario 4: Your tenant was part of the temporary cohort where Loop workspaces were backed by SharePoint sites
Some organizations temporarily received Loop workspaces backed by SharePoint Online sites. These sites have URLs that end with a GUID and contain a folder named LoopAppData.
