SCVMM NETWORK ISSUE

Hii

There are four node and hyper-v configured on all node and created virtual switch with the name with each host with same name, configured windows fail over cluster on all host and added all node in cluster and shared disk.

And all running vm proper migration is working across nodes within cluster and this cluster added in SCVMM Aand storage and network added in SCVMM,

So we have just suddenly changed network virtual account on only one node so network configuration is lost from scvmm.

So right now my node has switch embedded independent and rest of 3 nodes switch has same switch with LACP configuration.

So there are 2 different switch and configuration, one node has different switch and rest of 3 nodes has same switch,so how to get network back configuration in SCVMM please let me know.

To restore the network configuration in SCVMM after changing the network virtual account on one node, you will need to ensure that the logical switch settings are consistent across all nodes in the cluster. Here are the steps to follow:

    1. Verify Logical Switch Configuration: Check the logical switch configuration for the node that has lost its network settings. Make sure that it matches the configuration of the other three nodes that are using the same switch with LACP.
    2. Reapply Logical Switch: Open SCVMM and navigate to Fabric > Servers > All Hosts. Select the affected host and go to Properties > Virtual Switches. Here, you can select the correct logical switch that matches the configuration of the other nodes and apply it to the physical adapter.
    3. Check Compliance: After applying the logical switch, check the compliance of the network adapter settings. Navigate to Fabric > Networking > Logical Switches > Home > Show > Hosts. Verify the settings to ensure they are compliant with the logical switch. If there are compliance errors, you may need to remediate them.
    4. Confirm Network Adapter Usage: Ensure that the network adapter on the affected node is configured correctly for virtual machines and management. This can be done in the Hardware section of the host properties in SCVMM.
    5. Test Network Connectivity: Once the configuration is reapplied, test the network connectivity to ensure that the node can communicate properly with the other nodes in the cluster and that VMs can migrate as expected.

By following these steps, you should be able to restore the network configuration in SCVMM for the affected node.
