Hi! You can't remove the PIN or password because your email account is linked to Windows. If you don't want to use either a password or a PIN, you should sign in with a local account.

    • Instead of using the PIN, you can use the password by clicking on Sign-in Methods > Key (Password) icon > You can use your Microsoft account password.
    1. Open Windows Settings > Accounts > Your info > Under Microsoft account, click Sign in as a local account.
    2. Click Next > Enter your email or Windows login password.
    3. Enter your user information > Next > Sign out and finish.
    4. After unlinking your email account from Windows, restart your PC > When it starts, relink your email account.

To remove the PIN sign-in option from your desktop, follow these steps:

    1. Open Settings by pressing Windows + I.
    2. Navigate to Accounts > Sign-in options.
    3. Under the PIN (Windows Hello) section, if the "Remove" button is grayed out, it may be due to certain policies or settings that prevent you from removing the PIN.
    4. Ensure that you have another sign-in method set up, such as a password, as Windows may require an alternative method before allowing the removal of the PIN.
    5. If you have another sign-in method, try signing in with that and then attempt to remove the PIN again.
    6. If the issue persists, you may need to check for any group policies or settings that are enforced on your device that could be preventing this action.

If you are unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
