Please go to this path, open File Explorer by right clicking the Start Menu, Go to C Drive,

    Navigate to this path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16

Look for Office Apps like WINWORD, EXCEL, and OUTLOOK.

If you see them, you may create a short cut by right-clicking Excel, and click Show More Options at the bottom and then click on Send To and choose Desktop as a destination. Perform the same steps on all other Office shortcuts.

So I see microsoft 365 en-us there but nothing that says office

Microsoft 365 (en-us) means that you have installed a subscription version of Office (US English language version). The name Office is primarily used with the perpetual (one-time payment) versions, such as Office Home & Business 2024.

You should be able to start individual the apps, Excel, Word etc., from the Windows Start menu. Are you saying that you can't find those? Does it help if you search the Start menu (open the menu by clicking the Start button and then start typing Word)?

Click the Start Menu, type Control Panel, go to Programs and Features, click on Uninstall a Program, scroll down to Microsoft Office 365. Please let me know if it is there. If not, you may need to run the downloaded installer to run the installation.

Hi! Let me help you with this issue.

After downloading it, have you tried installing Microsoft Office 365?
