I've just rebuilt my computer from my time machine and the office apps won't open - 'can't be opened'. I'm trying to find where I can reinstall older versions on my MAC OS 13.7.8 device.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. To add to the above, the September 2025 Update (16.101) is the last build to support macOS Ventura (13) for Microsoft 365. See the link below for more information with regards to this specific macOS and download link has been provided below and it is where you can locate the 16.101 installer file.

To install MS Office on your Mac running macOS 13.7.8, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Compatibility: Microsoft supports only the three most recent versions of macOS. Since you are on an older version, you may need to install an older version of Office that is compatible with macOS 13.7.8.
    2. Download Older Version: You can install version 16.100 of Office for Mac, which should work on your system. Look for the installer that corresponds to this version.
    3. Activation: After installing, you will need to activate Office using your existing Office license.
    4. Troubleshooting: If you encounter issues with the installation or activation, consider using the Microsoft 365 Uninstall troubleshooter to remove any previous installations before attempting to reinstall.

By following these steps, you should be able to reinstall MS Office on your Mac successfully.
