My F1 key does not seem to do anything to bring up keyboard lighting. My caps light works so I know the bulb is good.

To turn on the keyboard lighting on your Surface Pro X, you typically use the F5 key, which cycles through different levels of backlighting. If the F1 key is not functioning as expected, ensure that you are pressing the correct key for backlighting, as older models might have used the F7 key. Additionally, you may need to toggle the Fn key if your keyboard settings require it.
If the keyboard backlight still does not respond, you may want to check your device settings or consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
