    Dear rayen Harbaoui

Thank you for your question and for sharing the details into Microsoft Q&A Forum.

I understand how frustrating it can be when touch input keeps coming back after a reboot, especially if it causes your games to switch into “mobile/phone-style” controls and impacts your keyboard/mouse experience.

Before we proceed, could you please review the Independent Advisor's answer first, it's really well-structured and worth a try.

To help me determine the most appropriate next steps, please share the details below:

    • Laptop brand and model
    • In Device Manager, which item are you disabling?
      • HID-compliant touch screen (touchscreen)
      • or a touchpad device (trackpad)
    • Are you choosing Disable device or Uninstall device?

While our initial response may not fully resolve the issue, we truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

To disable the driver, kindly follow the steps below:

-Press the Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Human Interface Devices

    -Look for your Touchscreen driver

    -Right-click and click Update Driver

-Select Browse my computer for drivers

-Click Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer

    -Uncheck "Show compatible hardware"

-Choose any driver that is not the same as the driver you have (Basically, installing an incompatible one to disable it)

    -Restart the PC and check.
