How to remove Time Suggestions in event Scheduler

Am wanting to turn of the "Time suggestions" feature that creates visual clutter in the Scheduler view when creating a new event (in New Outlook), but unable to find any options for this.

I'm finding the suggested options very annoying and confusing. I know when I need to meet, and this can cause me to make mistakes. Please allow us to toggle it in all views. Thanks.

The fact that we are being forced to work around AI clutter is ridiculous. The interface is horrible and a step back from the previous version. I schedule hundreds of calendar events each year and this is slowing down my work flow and opening up the possibility for mistakes.

Additionally, the fact that double-clicking on an event opens it directly in Edit mode is also a recipe for mistakes. My team and I open events to view the attendee list, details, etc. on a shared calendar and one wrong click or tap in edit mode can introduce errors.

Please stop forcing updates that are detrimental to users' workflows.

I don't even mind that they're there as suggestions. What's annoying is that I cannot hover over meetings in those time slots to see the details. A lot of co-workers just put random reminders and lunch on their calendar and I know that I can schedule over them, but since I can't read what's under the blue bar, I have to find it elsewhere.

This is so absolutely horrible and now takes much longer to look at scheduling something. This along with other changes in the MS Office Suite is much worse than previous versions on many things.

I understand that you’re looking for a setting to collapse or disable the Suggested times bubble in the scheduling view. Based on my research, Suggested times is a deeply integrated component of the New Outlook (and Outlook on the web) scheduler engine. Unlike Classic Outlook, which allowed more extensive UI customization, the New Outlook is built on a web-based framework where many AI-driven features are designed to be always on to assist with multi-user scheduling.

As a result, there is currently no dedicated setting to permanently turn off or hide the Suggested time bubbles in the Scheduler view.

If this is a feature you would like to see, I suggest keeping an eye on the Microsoft Outlook (New) blog or the Microsoft 365 Roadmap | Microsoft 365 for any updates on this feature. In the meantime, I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
