    Hello,

If you go to https://account.microsoft.com, then click on Security > Manage how I sign in, is it here?

    Hi Joyce Outten

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand that you are facing issue with your Microsoft account.

First, I need to confirm what type of account this is (personal Microsoft account vs. work/school account). Since this is a public forum, please don’t post any personal information (full email address, phone number, verification info, etc.) here. Additionally, you can also check it yourself by following these steps:

    • Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com and sign in with the affected account.
    • If the page shows "Microsoft Account" or looks like Outlook.com/Skype/Xbox settings. it’s a personal account.
    • If it shows your organization name or Microsoft 365/Azure AD portal. it’s a work or school account.

Looking forward to your reply so I can assist you further. Thank you for your understanding!
