How to change my address in the UK associated with my old Canadian credit card

I am unable to link my new UK address with my new UK credit card. The billing page keeps referring back to Canada and my Canadian credit card

Microsoft 365 subscription is tied to the country and currency where it was originally purchased. Because of that, the system won’t let you extend the subscription or set up auto-billing using a payment method from your new country.

What you can do instead is cancel your current subscription and wait for it to expire (or you can cancel it early if possible). Once it’s fully expired, you can purchase a new Microsoft 365 subscription using your correct country and billing information.

OK, now I understand, thanks for the clarification. I will take out a new subscription in due course. However, at the moment, can I add a new device to my subscription - I recently bought an Apple MacBook. I mainly use my iMac. Can you confirm that my existing subscription will not automatically renew?

Yes, you can still add and use your existing subscription on your new MacBook, as long as your current Microsoft 365 subscription is still active. You can simply sign in with the same Microsoft account on your MacBook and install Office there.

To make sure it does not renew automatically, I recommend signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/services finding your subscription, and checking that recurring billing is turned off. If it’s already off, then it won’t renew, and your subscription will expire at the end of the current period.
