How do I transfer the Microsoft package I purchased years ago to my new laptop

I purchase the Microsoft package about 10 years ago at MicroAge basics in Goderich, Ontario. was told that this could easily be transferred to new computer... I purchased a new laptop 5 years ago and called in to Microsoft and they help with the transfer... I purchase a new laptop and I am looking to transfer Microsoft office to this new laptop

Hi Joanne,

You can install the Office to your new laptop by going to account.microsoft.com/services > sign in using the Microsoft account where the Office license associated to.

If in case you have Microsoft 365 subscription, you can actually install it on multiple devices, otherwise, if its a one time purchase license, ensure to uninstall the Office first on where it is currently installed to before installing it on the new one to avoid activation issue.
