How do I offload backed up pictures from my iphone on onedrive? I have already turned off camera backup, but the pictures that have already been uploaded are taking all of my storage space.

    Hi Jason,

If your OneDrive storage is full from iPhone photos you’ve already backed up, turning off camera backup stops new uploads but doesn’t remove existing files. To free space, you need to delete the photos from OneDrive after confirming they’re safely stored elsewhere (like your computer or an external drive) to avoid data loss. You can do this via the OneDrive app or website by selecting the backed-up photos and deleting them. Once deleted, your OneDrive storage will be freed.

To offload backed up pictures from your iPhone that are already uploaded to OneDrive, you will need to delete the photos from OneDrive directly. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Access OneDrive: Open the OneDrive app on your iPhone or log in to OneDrive through a web browser.
    2. Locate Photos: Navigate to the folder where your photos are stored. This is usually in the "Pictures" or "Camera Roll" folder.
    3. Select Photos: Choose the photos you want to delete. You can usually do this by tapping on the photos or using a selection tool.
    4. Delete Photos: Look for a delete option (often represented by a trash can icon) and confirm the deletion. This will remove the selected photos from your OneDrive storage.
    5. Check Storage: After deleting, you can check your OneDrive storage to see how much space has been freed up.

Remember, once you delete the photos from OneDrive, they will no longer be accessible unless you have them saved elsewhere.
