My kids tried to log into microsoft word from their school account to do the school homework. I heard that microsoft provides free access to students. When they try to log in with correct username and password, it says incorrect username and password which is not correct. Please help me here.

A school email helps, but it is not an automatic guarantee. Many schools provide access through Microsoft’s academic programs. If your child's institution participates, students can often download Microsoft 365 for free. You will need to reach out to your child's school IT support team to find out about this, to see if they are qualified.
