    Hello,

Microsoft's personal and commercial products are from two ecosystems. There's no way to simply switch. You need to make sure you also cancel your personal subscription once data migration is done. Please go to https://account.live.com

Sign into your Microsoft account. Then go to Subscriptions. Click on Manage for the subscription plan you want to cancel.

if you do sign up for the business plan, it will have you create a new username that ends with onmicrosoft.com. Make sure you write that down because that's your user credential to log into Office apps and OneDrive after that. And the subscription will be managed via this link https://admin.microsoft.com.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Switching from Microsoft 365 Personal to a Business plan does not automatically delete your OneDrive files, but it does require a manual migration because these are two separate accounts (personal and work/business).

To safely move your files from OneDrive Personal to OneDrive for Business, you can follow Microsoft’s official guide here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/copy-transfer-or-import-files-to-your-personal-onedrive-7dbda93c-71e6-483f-8914-ad445554cd31

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

To change your subscription from a personal account to a business account without losing your files on OneDrive, you can follow these steps:

    1. Keep Your Data: You can retain your data in your personal OneDrive account even after creating a new business email account. You have the option to move all your data to your business account or selectively transfer files.
    2. Move Files to OneDrive for Work: If you want to move files from your personal OneDrive to your business OneDrive, ensure both accounts are synced to your device. You can then drag and drop the files between the two OneDrive folders.
    3. Access Your Files: After signing up for a Microsoft 365 for business subscription, you can access your files from your web browser by signing in to office.com with your work email and selecting OneDrive.
    4. Backup Important Data: Before making the switch, it's also advisable to back up any important files from OneDrive or other services to ensure nothing is lost during the transition.

By following these steps, you can successfully change your subscription without losing access to your files.
