My Microsoft account was recently hacked, and stressed about losing it, I deleted it. I tried to reopen it by removing the hacker and changing my email address, but my security code is no longer being sent. For some reason I don't know, I've tried everything, changing my email address several times, but it's not working. If you have any ideas to help me, please let me know. I need help. Thank you for your reply.

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

To recover the account, kindly follow the steps below:

Method 1. Recover a Microsoft account by resetting the password:

Go to this link: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2273955 and follow the prompt to reset the password.

Method 2. If you cannot reset the password or are unable to verify the account, I recommend submitting a recovery form:

    https://account.live.com/acsr

Please complete the form and expect a reply within a couple of days.

Note: If the issue persists, you may reach Microsoft Accounts and Billing support by following the steps below:

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact

In the search bar, type in your issue, then hit enter.

Scroll down to the bottom and select the blue button "Contact Support"

It sounds like you're facing a challenging situation with your Microsoft account. Here are some steps you can take to try to regain access:

    1. Account Recovery: Go to the Microsoft account recovery page and follow the prompts to recover your account. Make sure to use any recovery options available, such as alternate email addresses or phone numbers that you may have set up.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support: Since you are having issues with the recovery process, it’s advisable to contact Microsoft Support directly for assistance. They can help you with account recovery and may have additional tools to verify your identity.
    3. Check for Account Activity: If you regain access, check your account activity for any unauthorized changes or settings, such as forwarding rules or linked accounts that you did not set up.
    4. Secure Your Account: Once you regain access, immediately change your password to a strong, unique one. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) again, and ensure that your recovery options are up to date.
    5. Monitor for Further Issues: Keep an eye on your account for any suspicious activity and inform your contacts about the potential compromise to prevent them from falling victim to phishing attempts.

If you continue to face issues with the recovery process, it may take some time for Microsoft to resolve the service problems you mentioned. Be persistent in reaching out to their support team for help.
