Take a look at Part 3 of my 8 part blog series on How to Setup, Manage, and Maintain WSUS.

    https://www.ajtek.ca/wsus/how-to-setup-manage-and-maintain-wsus-part-3-windows-as-a-service-waas-and-group-policy-administrative-templates/

Part 4 is also important because it sets the proper GPOs. One other thing to make sure of is that your WSUS server has the correct Mimetypes for UUP

    https://www.ajtek.ca/guides/how-to-prepare-for-on-prem-wsus-uup-updates/

Theoretically, if you have the latest CU on your WSUS server, it should be good, but just in case - that's how you need to add them.

    Hello,

For Windows 11 24H2 via WSUS, Microsoft requires you to sync the Upgrades classification and Windows 11 product, approve Feature update to Windows 11, version 24H2 for the correct group, and ensure the device has the latest Servicing Stack Update and cumulative update installed.

Also confirm Group Policy points to your WSUS server under Specify intranet Microsoft update service location. Microsoft notes feature updates fail if classifications, product selection, or servicing stack are not up to date.
