Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

    1. May I please know whether you’re having trouble signing in to your account in all Office applications, such as Word or Excel, or only in Outlook?
    2. Is the affected email address associated with a personal Microsoft account (for example, one ending in @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, or @gmail.com that you created for services like Skype or Xbox), or is it a work/school account provided by your organization (for example, ******@company.com)?
    3. Also, could you let us know if you are having an Office 365 Personal or Business subscription?

If you are encountering an error while trying to log in to Outlook with your Office 365 subscription on a new device, there are several troubleshooting steps you can follow:

    1. Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure that your device is connected to the internet and that there are no connectivity issues.
    2. Run the Microsoft 365 Activation Troubleshooter: This tool can help resolve activation issues. Make sure you are using the same Windows device where Microsoft 365 is installed. You can find the troubleshooter in the Get Help app.
    3. Verify Your Account: Make sure that you are using the correct email and password associated with your Office 365 subscription. If you are unsure, try resetting your password.
    4. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Office 365 installation is up to date. Sometimes, updates can resolve login issues.
    5. Disable Antivirus/Firewall Temporarily: Some antivirus or firewall settings may block the connection. Temporarily disable them to see if it resolves the issue.
    6. Check Proxy Settings: If you are behind a proxy server, ensure that the settings are correctly configured. You may need to consult your network administrator for assistance.
    7. Create a New User Account: If the problem persists, consider creating a new Windows user account and try logging in from there. This can sometimes resolve account-specific issues.
    8. Contact Support: If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot the login issue with your Office 365 account on your new device.
