How can I resolve "interaction_required: AADSTS5000225: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity." in Azure?

Hey everyone!

When trying to log in to Azure, I get the error "interaction_required: AADSTS5000225: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity.". I have tried the following ways to resolve this:

  • Called the German phone support number. The automated customer support agent told me to open a case at https://aka.ms/AzureCase, which I can't because I can't log in to my account.
  • Tried to open a case at https://aka.ms/prosupport. When I select the product family "Azure" and the service "Azure Portal Sign-in or Subscription", I get forwarded to Azure again, where I can't log in.

How can I resolve this?
