I have not received any incoming emails in Outlook from my AOL account since noon today. The emails are visible in my AOL account on my phone, but they are not appearing on my laptop.

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing your question.

I understand that you have stopped receiving AOL emails in Outlook on your PC since noon, even though the same messages still appear normally on your phone. I know how concerning this can be, especially when you rely on Outlook to keep all your email accounts synced across devices.

This issue usually happens when Outlook encounters a syncing interruption, when the AOL account authentication needs to be refreshed, or when a temporary connection error prevents new mail from downloading.

A common resolution is to restart Outlook, check your internet connection, and ensure that your AOL account is still properly authenticated. In many cases, removing and re‑adding the AOL account in Outlook refreshes the connection and allows new messages to sync again. Updating Outlook can also restore mail flow if a recent patch affected the email connection.

May I ask whether you are using Outlook with IMAP settings for your AOL account and whether you have recently changed your AOL password or received any security alerts?

Please feel free to follow up with me if you would like help checking your account settings, updating your authentication, or re‑adding your AOL account to Outlook. I’m here to make sure your email starts syncing again smoothly.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Noel

It seems that you are experiencing issues with receiving emails from your AOL account in Outlook on your PC. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your laptop is connected to the internet.
    2. Outlook Connection: Verify that Outlook is properly connected to your AOL account. You can do this by checking the account settings in Outlook.
    3. Cached Mode: Sometimes, emails may not appear in Cached mode. You can try switching to Online mode to see if the emails appear. If they do, you may need to troubleshoot your Cached mode settings.
    4. Filters and Rules: Check if there are any filters or rules set up in Outlook that might be hiding incoming emails. You can review your view settings and filters to ensure nothing is set to block incoming messages.
    5. Restart Outlook: Sometimes, simply restarting Outlook can resolve sync issues.
    6. Repair Outlook: If the issue persists, consider repairing your Outlook installation through the Control Panel.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to check for any updates to Outlook or consider reaching out to AOL support for further assistance.
