    Hello TAK KWONG DENNIS CHAN,

Thank you for reaching out in Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand how frustrating it is when OneNote on your iPad will not sync to your iPhones even though you signed in with the same account.

This situation usually happens when the notebook on the iPad is stored locally instead of in the cloud, so the iPhones cannot see it. OneNote can only sync notebooks that are saved in OneDrive or SharePoint.

    Please check these points:

    1. On the iPad, open OneNote and confirm whether the notebook shows “On My iPad” or “OneDrive”. If it shows On My iPad, it will not sync.
    2. If the notebook is local, move it to OneDrive: tap the notebook name > move/copy > choose OneDrive.
    3. After moving it, wait for the upload to finish, then open OneNote on the iPhones and check if the notebook appears.
    4. If the notebook is already in OneDrive, sign out on all devices, restart the devices, then sign in again with the same account and refresh the notebook list.

    Hope this helps

If you are having trouble syncing OneNote across your devices, there are a few potential causes and solutions you can try:

    1. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that both your iPad and iPhones are connected to the internet. A poor or unstable connection can prevent syncing.
    2. Account Authentication: Make sure you are signed in with the same Microsoft account on all devices. If you are not authenticated, syncing will not occur.
    3. Notebook Sync Status: Sometimes, notebooks may not sync if they are not fully uploaded to the cloud. Check if your OneNote notebooks are syncing properly on the iPad before trying to sync them to the iPhones.
    4. App Version: Ensure that all devices are using the latest version of the OneNote app. Outdated versions may have bugs that affect syncing.
    5. Restart Devices: Restarting your devices can sometimes resolve temporary issues that may be affecting the syncing process.
    6. Check OneNote Status: Occasionally, there may be issues with OneNote's service itself. You can check the Microsoft service status page to see if there are any ongoing issues.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
