I think its something related to Google Services since it says that that service always times out, how do I disable google services so it doesnt timeout during the installation?

how do I disable google services so it doesnt timeout during the installation?

You can turn it off by launching services.msc and setting the startup type of that service to Disabled.

Please share your Farbar scan logs for analysis.

    • Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool 64-bit FRST64.exe
    • If the OS language is not English, rename FRST64.exe to FRST64English.exe.
    • Run the program. Don't check or uncheck any options. Click "Scan".
    • Add the two logs, FRST.txt and Addition.txt, to a zip archive.
    • Share the zip file on OneDrive or GoFile.io, and post the link here.

Note: If Microsoft Edge or Chrome mislabels the Farbar Scanner executable as PUA/malware, choose to keep it by tapping … in the bottom bar, choosing Keep, and then choosing Keep anyway in the dialog that appears. See this screenshot. It's a safe tool used in most antimalware forums.

To address the error code 0xC1900101-0x40017 during the Windows 11 upgrade from Windows 10, especially if it occurs during the second boot phase, you can follow these troubleshooting steps:

    1. Disable Third-Party Antivirus and Anti-Malware: Sometimes, third-party security software can interfere with the upgrade process. Temporarily disable any such applications before attempting the upgrade again.
    2. Perform a Clean Restart: A clean boot can help eliminate background applications that may be causing conflicts. To do this:
      • Sign in as an administrator.
      • Type msconfig in the search box and select System Configuration.
      • Under the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services and then click Disable all.
      • Go to the Startup tab and open Task Manager to disable all startup items.
      • Restart your computer and try the upgrade again.
    3. Remove Nonessential External Hardware: Disconnect any peripherals that are not necessary for the upgrade, such as external drives or printers, to prevent potential conflicts.
    4. Check for Driver Issues: Open Device Manager and look for any devices with a yellow exclamation mark. Update or uninstall any problematic drivers.
    5. Ensure BIOS is Updated: Make sure your BIOS and firmware are up to date, as outdated firmware can cause installation issues.
    6. Review Event Logs: Use Event Viewer to check for any logs that might indicate hardware or driver issues that could be causing the upgrade to fail.
    7. Repair or Remove Unsigned Drivers: Unsigned drivers can cause installation problems. Use the sigverif command in an administrative Command Prompt to check for unsigned drivers and address any issues found.

If you suspect that Google Services are causing timeouts, you might consider disabling them temporarily during the upgrade process, but the steps above should help resolve the upgrade failure more broadly.
