Good afternoon, It appears that I have a Microsoft trial subscription. This will become chargeable from 12 February. However, I am unable to access the relevant account. The trial subscription was a mistake and I do not wish to take out a subscription. I would appreciate your assistance.

Can we talk in German?

    Dear Oliver Barth

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum. Please note that this is a user‑based community forum, and I am only a forum moderator. Since your issue involves billing and account access, which may contain sensitive information, I unfortunately don’t have the ability to investigate it directly here due to privacy and security policies.

If your trial subscription is renewing today and you are unable to access the associated account, you can immediately contact your bank and ask them to block future charges from Microsoft / MSFT.

Based on the tag you selected, it looks like you might have an M365 Business subscription, please correct me if I'm mistaken. If you are unable to access the relevant account, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support by phone first to see if they can help verify your identity and stop the subscription: Get support for Microsoft 365 for business

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

If you set up a trial subscription for business, you should have access to https://admin.microsoft.com via an .onmicrosoft.com account, created as part of the process when you started the trial.

To cancel your Microsoft trial subscription before it becomes chargeable, you can go to the Microsoft 365 admin center and turn off recurring billing. This will ensure that your trial automatically expires at the end of the trial period without any charges to your credit card.

If you are unable to access your account, you may need to contact Microsoft support for assistance in regaining access. Since you mentioned that the trial subscription was a mistake, it is important to act quickly to avoid being charged.
