We have a subscription for Microsoft 365 where the first payment was taken on 05/10/23.

The subscription is for a company that we have sold, and don't have access to the laptop that it is installed on.

We have tried cancelling it on our company credit card but you keep re-instating it, the last payment went out on 05/10/25.

How do i stop this please?

    Hi Steph,

This is a user-to-user support forum, so we do not have the ability to locate the payments.

Please get in touch with Microsoft Support for further help.

    Please go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus page

Type the ""Chat with someone"" option and press Enter.

Please click on the ""Contact support"" button at the bottom.

Select the Product and Category for support according to your requirement.

The available support methods will be shown to you.

I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Otherwise, please take a moment to rate the answer. Wishing you good luck!

To stop the Microsoft 365 subscription without login details, you have a couple of options:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support: Since you do not have access to the account or the login details, reaching out to Microsoft Support directly is essential. They may require some verification to assist you in canceling the subscription.
    2. Cancel through Credit Card Issuer: If contacting Microsoft does not yield results, you might consider contacting your credit card issuer to dispute the charges or to stop future payments. This could prevent Microsoft from reinstating the subscription.
    3. Legal Process: If necessary, you can follow the legal process to claim ownership of the account, especially if the subscription was under the company that has been sold. More information on this can be found on Microsoft's support site.

Since account security is a priority for Microsoft, they may not allow cancellation without proper verification of account ownership.
