I've just purchased microsoft 365 for my daughter on my computer in the family link. However it appears I have to download it on my own computer. No link to share with her. Is this because its not family subscription? I don't need it for myself.

Thank you

Hi Tracy, as per Q&A Assist you cannot share Microsoft 365 Personal. You can install it on all your devices. You could convert the 365 Personal to 365 Family and then share it with your daughter, or you could cancel the subscription and purchase 365 Personal using your daughters computer and using her Microsoft Account. I do not think there are any other options.

To share Microsoft 365 with your daughter, you need to have a Microsoft 365 Family subscription. A Personal subscription does not allow sharing with others. If you have a Family subscription, you can send her an invitation to join your subscription, and once she accepts it, she will be able to install Microsoft 365 on her computer using her own account.

If you only purchased a Personal subscription, you will not be able to share it with her. You would need to upgrade to a Family subscription to enable sharing.
