Can't access a specific sharepoint

I am a contract worker working at an institution that created a shared Sharepoint for the contract employees, and I recently broke my phone and had to get a new one with a new number. Since I don't have access to my old phone, I had to reset my DUO security phone number with my contract company IT, so now I can access my Microsoft account and Outlook; however, I still can't access this specific Sharepoint the institution I'm working at created. It shows the request to text my old phone (attached) to identify me every time I go to it from a link, bookmark, even though I'm already logged in. I checked the "Are your verification methods current? Check at https://aka.ms/mfasetup" and it shows that my verification methods are DUO and my NEW phone number, so both my contract company IT and the institution's IT are unsure why I'm being requested to verify from my old one. The institution even tried removing me from the Sharepoint and reading me and it still didn't do anything. PLEASE HELP.

I think that ur stuck cuz that sharepoint still pulls an old mfa bind… the site’s aad policy cached ur prev phone n keeps callin it even tho ur acct’s updated. u need their admin to wipe ur strong‑auth on the site’s aad obj… once it rebinds, it’ll stop pingin the old num, u didn’t do anything wrong.
