They (MSN) certainly know of the problem, why has nothing been done? Brand new Mac, same issues with the videos....not my internet speed or browser or any of the other suggestions....Apple techs, Geek squad have the same problems and no solutions....The ads play though!
Cannot Watch full videos on MSN homepage
I am getting quite frustrated. I am unable to watch full videos on my MSN home page. I can watch until the ad in the video plays, then when the requested video comes back on the screen is frozen. I can find no way to get the video to continue. It almost not worth trying to view any videos as articles. Can you help? Thanks.

2026-02-17T00:46:30.4933333+00:00 This problem only applies to videos on MSN. I tested this by watching the same Why Files video on both MSN and YouTube.
The MSN video froze every time it tried to display an ad but on YouTube the ads loaded fully and I could watch the full video as normal.
MSN should get this fixed as a priority because it will impact their ad revenue.

Q&A Assist2026-02-12T16:01:26.12+00:00 AI generated content. This question contains an answer created with AI from Q&A Assist. Learn moreIt sounds like you are experiencing issues with video playback on the MSN homepage, particularly after ads. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
- Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, clearing your browser's cache can resolve playback issues. Try clearing your cache and cookies, then restart your browser.
- Update Your Browser: Ensure that you are using the latest version of your web browser, as updates often include fixes for video playback issues.
- Disable Extensions: Browser extensions can sometimes interfere with video playback. Try disabling any extensions, particularly ad blockers, to see if that resolves the issue.
- Check Internet Connection: A slow or unstable internet connection can cause videos to freeze. Make sure your connection is stable and fast enough for video streaming.
- Try a Different Browser: If the issue persists, try accessing the MSN homepage using a different web browser to see if the problem is browser-specific.
- Enable Multimedia Redirection: If you are using a remote session, ensure that multimedia redirection is enabled, as this can improve video playback performance.
If none of these steps work, you may want to reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
