Unable to sign into Power Automate

I'm trying to log into power automate with my daily driver/normal account and I keep getting an error stating:

That didn't work

*Your organization doesn’t allow access to Power Automate via your work or school email. Continue by using your personal email, for example, *****@hotmail.com.

Checking the license and applications for my user account, all is correct. G3 and all apps including power automate checked for my user account in the admin center (logged in with my ms365 admin account to check).

Do I need to set anything up specifically for our environment in the power automate admin center? Do we need purchase separate licenses for users? I was having issues finding documentation on this within MS Learn.

Thanks

It seems that your organization has restricted access to Power Automate for work or school email accounts. The error message you are receiving indicates that you should use a personal email instead. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Check Organizational Policies: Verify with your IT department if there are any specific policies in place that restrict access to Power Automate for work or school accounts.
    2. Power Automate Admin Center: You may need to set up permissions or enable Power Automate for your organization in the Power Automate admin center. Ensure that the necessary licenses are assigned to users who need access.
    3. Licensing: If your organization requires separate licenses for Power Automate, you will need to purchase those licenses for users who need access. The G3 license typically includes access, but confirm this with your admin settings.
    4. Documentation: For detailed guidance, you can refer to Microsoft documentation on managing licenses and access for Power Automate.

If the issue persists after checking these points, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
