To cancel your subscription and potentially receive a refund, the steps depend on your billing account type. If you have an MCA billing account type, you can cancel within seven days of the renewal to receive a prorated refund. If more than seven days have passed, you can only turn off recurring billing, which will prevent future charges but will not refund the current charge.

If you have an MOSA billing account type, you may also receive a prorated credit or refund if you cancel after renewal. However, if you are unable to cancel your subscription, you should contact support for assistance.

To proceed with cancellation, you can follow the steps to cancel your subscription in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
