- Go to Settings > Apps > See all apps > Microsoft Launcher > Storage & cache > Clear cache
- Go back and tap Force stop
- Unlock / relaunch and test
Clear Storage
If the issue persists, do a deeper reset:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Microsoft Launcher > Storage & cache > Clear storage (or Clear data)
- Force stop the app
- Reopen Launcher and set it as default again
Backup > reinstall > restore (avoids losing layout)
- Go to Microsoft Launcher > Settings > Backup & restore > Back up (if accessible)
- Uninstall Microsoft Launcher
- Reinstall from Play Store
- Launcher > Backup & restore > Restore
