Hi @Monica Chan
Thank you for posting your question in the Q&A Forum.
I understand how frustrating it is when a daily tool like My Templates suddenly disappears from your workspace.
Microsoft has acknowledged this as a backend issue (Service Incident EX1183224), affecting both Classic and New Outlook. While the official fix is being rolled out, please try these steps to restore access:
- Check Outlook Web: Sign in at outlook.office.com. Templates often remain available there even when missing from the desktop app.
- Re-add via Add-ins: In Outlook, go to Get Add-ins (or All Apps) and search for "My Templates" to see if it can be re-enabled.
- Temporary Workaround: You may consider using Quick Parts or Signatures for your frequently used content until the button reappears.
For more details, you can reference the official Microsoft article here: My Templates are missing from Outlook - Microsoft Support
If the issue persists, your IT admin may need to review the deployment settings in the Microsoft 365 admin center to ensure it is fully provisioned.
Please let me know if these steps work for you or if you need further assistance.
