I am using this resource, Product Availability by Region, however I am being told that this is not up to date. In addition, is there any kind of roadmap that defines when certain services will be present in certain regions? Some Azure Government Regions have a service (e.g. Purview) but other Regions do not have it which presents questions regarding regional DR.

Hello Polivka, Michael, It sounds like you're looking for the most up-to-date information on Azure services in Azure Government and potential roadmaps for service availability.

For the latest on service offerings, you can start by checking the Azure Government page directly on Microsoft’s website, which provides insights into regional services and feature availability compared to Azure Public. Although you mentioned the "Product Availability by Region" link, it's essential to note that Microsoft frequently updates its resources.

You can also refer to the following resources for detailed insights:

    1. Compare Azure Government and Global Azure: This article provides a comparative overview of services available in Azure Government versus Azure Public. It may give some context regarding which services you might expect in specific regions.
    2. Cloud Feature Availability: This document outlines various features and their availability in Azure Government, showing whether they are Generally Available, in Public Preview, or Not Available.

As for a roadmap detailing when specific services might launch in certain regions, such information is often available through updates published by Microsoft, but it's typically specific and may not be comprehensively outlined in a single document. Keeping an eye on Microsoft's Azure updates page and subscribing to updates could be beneficial:

To get up-to-date information on Azure Services offered in Azure Government, you should refer to the official Microsoft resource titled "Products available by region." This resource lists the services available in Azure Government by category and indicates whether they are Generally Available or in Preview. It's essential to check this resource regularly for the latest updates on service availability.

Additionally, while there is no specific roadmap mentioned in the context for when certain services will be available in specific regions, you can find variations and limitations in service features by reviewing the guidance provided for developers working in Azure Government. This guidance may help clarify the availability of services like Purview across different regions.
