Need urgent help to access my Outlook account

Hi Microsoft Support Team,

I am unable to sign in to my Outlook account ******@outlook.com because I forgot the password. The problem is that no recovery options (email or phone) are currently available for me to receive a verification code.

However, my account is still active, and I am able to receive notifications on it. If a verification code is sent, I will be able to receive it immediately.

This account is extremely important for me as I have interviews and work tasks scheduled next week that I need access for. I kindly request urgent assistance to either add a recovery option or help me reset my password so I can regain access as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for your support and understanding.

Best regards,

Wajood Alharbi

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Since you do not have access to the verification methods for password reset, I'm afraid the only way to recover the account is through the account recovery web form: https://account.live.com/acsr

Important: If you have an active 2FA, ACSR will inform you that your recovery request will be ignored. If you only receive a message that the recovery request is either successful or indicates insufficient information, this means that 2FA is disabled.

You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft, and you can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

If your Microsoft account recovery request was not granted, please review this link for tips on improving your chances of a successful recovery: https://support.microsoft.com/office/dc56c3e3-dff0-4ed5-8edb-60290eea6b53

Lastly, Microsoft Support will not be able to assist you as stated in this article, that they are not permitted to send password resets, access, or even change any details on the account:

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

To regain access to your Outlook account when you have forgotten your password and do not have recovery options available, you can follow these steps:

    1. Use the Account Recovery Form: Go to the Microsoft account recovery page at https://account.live.com/acsr. Choose the option for "I forgot my password" and follow the prompts. Provide as much information as possible to verify your identity.
    2. Wait for Lockout Period: If you have attempted to recover your account multiple times, your account may be temporarily locked. It's advisable to wait for about 24 hours before trying again to avoid further lockouts.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: If you are unable to recover your account through the recovery form, you can contact Microsoft Support for assistance. They may be able to help you with your account recovery process. You can find support options at https://support.microsoft.com/contactus.
    4. Check for Notifications: Since you mentioned that you can receive notifications, keep an eye on your account for any alerts or messages from Microsoft regarding your account status.
    5. Security Measures: Ensure that your account is secure by running antivirus scans on your devices and considering changing passwords for other accounts if you suspect any security issues.

Following these steps should help you regain access to your Outlook account as quickly as possible.
