What is "LineSecureCoin" on Windows 11 app list?

I've recently noticed a "LineSecureCoin" icon appear on my app list in Windows 11 and was just trying to figure out what it is. Can anyone shed some light on it?

Hi,

If it's mining software, I recommend uninstalling it immediately. If you don't use mining software, go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Uninstall the software in question.

I recommend you do an analysis with Microsoft's MSRT, analyze Windows Defend Offline scan ,Malwarebytes and adcleaner

After the analysis, open the command prompt (admin) and run the commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.

Then perform a clean boot and if you want to uninstall applications that you do not use.

Hi,

I believe it's not a Windows issue. Try right-clicking, selecting > more > open file location to check if the folder containing the file has the manufacturer's name.

Not sure where it came from as I haven't installed any "mining" software or the like. I tried uninstalling it, but from the looks of it there is only a shortcut to whatever it is in the following folder

I ran a Malwarebytes scan on it and it came back clear. So, I'm just going to go ahead and delete the file from my system.

In the case of the photo, there is also a shortcut, press the right button and open the file location, see where it goes, it takes you again and you can delete it soon afterwards together with the shortcuts, as you have already checked, as I said, I believe everything will be fine.
