Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.
Even though the headphones are paired and connected successfully, you will have to check whether they have been set as the default audio output device or not.
To do that, go to Start > Settings > System > Sounds > Choose your default audio Output device.
Make sure your headphones are selected as the default device.
Additionally, you will need to ensure the headphones work properly on another device when paired. This will help us ensure the headphones are in good condition. Also, if you have any Bluetooth headphones, you can try connecting them to your Windows PC and see if those headphones are working.
Here are a few troubleshooting methods to try:
1
Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter:
- Select Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. Next to Bluetooth, select Run and follow the instructions.
2
Reinstall Bluetooth adapters:
- Disconnect/Remove your headphones from the Bluetooth settings.
- Go to Device Manager and expand the arrow next to Bluetooth.
- Right-click your generic Bluetooth driver (Intel (R) or Realtek), select Uninstall device, select Attempt to delete the driver software for this device check box and click Uninstall.
- Once uninstalled, restart your computer.
(Windows will automatically reinstall the drivers during this restart.
Now, connect your Bluetooth headphones, set them as the default audio output device, and see if it is working.
