Invoices are being issued for licenses and credits shown in the billing history but the credit is not actually getting applied resulting in an overcharge. How do I get support?

    Hi Robert Coleman,

The first step I recommend is to log in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and review the Billing > Transactions section. This will show whether the credits are marked as pending or applied. If the credits are listed but not reflected in your invoice totals, it may indicate a synchronization issue between the billing system and your subscription records. In such cases, the credits should be automatically applied in the next billing cycle, but if the overcharge persists, manual intervention may be required.

To get direct support, you can open a billing support request from the Admin Center by navigating to Support > New Service Request and selecting the billing category. This will connect you with Microsoft’s billing specialists who can review your account and ensure the credits are properly applied. Alternatively, you can contact Microsoft Support via the official support portal, where billing and subscription issues are prioritized.

Also confirm that your payment method and billing profile are up to date, as outdated information can sometimes prevent credits from being processed correctly. If you are managing multiple subscriptions, ensure that the credits are tied to the correct subscription ID, as credits cannot be transferred across different subscriptions.

I hope this explanation clarifies your concern. Feel free to reply if you need further information.
