Can't use my Office 365 subscription storage with my hotmail account in Outlook

Can't add hotmail account to my Office 365 subscription as it is not the primary Microsoft account used for the subscription (I use a live account now.), because, if I understand correctly, it had been used before as the primary account email. So now my hotmail account is unusable in Outlook as it cannot access the storage I have already paid for with that subscription: Too full to send or receive messages. I could just delete the old mail or pay for even more storage for that account. These options are not really acceptable. Can this issue be fixed? Do I have to call support and beg for help?

This is messed up!

    Hi Roald,

This is a Microsoft account alias / subscription attachment issue, not a storage corruption issue. Only Billing support can help you with this to make changes at the backend.

Please get in touch with Microsoft Support for further help.

    Please go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus page

Type the ""Chat with someone"" option and press Enter.

Please click on the ""Contact support"" button at the bottom.

Select the Product and Category for support according to your requirement.

The available support methods will be shown to you.

I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Otherwise, please take a moment to rate the answer. Wishing you good luck!
